Barong and Keris Dance (cultural dance)
The Barong and Keris dance is the story of the fight between Barong, the good spirit, and Rangda, the bad spirit. Barong is a character in Balinese mythology seen as a protector spirit. Barong can take many forms but is often represented as a lion. The dance is performed in Batubulan village starting at 9:30am.

Celuk Village
Celuk village is a traditional Balinese village and is a major centre for gold and silversmiths. Gold and silver galleries line the road with workshops usually beside them where you can watch silversmiths and goldsmiths in action.

Mas Village
Mas village is the home of what is considered some of the best woodcarvings in Bali. The woodcarvings are of a distinctive style, promoting synergy of humanism and naturalism. Balinese masks and carvings inspired Hindu and Buddhist mythology are among some of the most popular pieces.

Mount Batur Volcano
Mount Batur is an active volcano located North West of Mount Agung that surrounds the 13-sq-km Batur caldera lake. A substantial lava field from an eruption in 1968 is visible today the town on Kintamani. Mount Batur is a popular tourist trek where you can enjoy the sunrise on early morning treks and sweeping views.

Bali Coffee Processing
Indonesia was the fourth largest producer of coffee in the world in 2014 and produced an estimated 660,000 metric tons of coffee in 2017. Kintamani is the main coffee growing area in Bali with many coffee famers adhering to the traditional farming system of Subak Abian. Here you can experience how Balinese coffee is made and try the best Balinese coffee and ginger tea Bali has to offer.

Tirta Empul (valuable historical site)
Tirta Empul is a temple complex and holy mountain spring located near the town of Tampaksiring and is considered sacred by the Balinese Hindu community. The temple was built around several holy springs and bathing pools said to be created by the God Indra. As you enter into the inner courtyard, the holy springs bubble up into a large, crystal clear pool gushing out through 30 waterspouts into two sacred purification pools. Local Balinese and Hindu worshippers practice a purification ritual known as melukat by dipping their heads under the waterspouts.

Gunung Kawi (valuable historical site)
Just two kilomteres from Tampaksiring is the 11th century shrine complex, Gunung Kawi. The complex consists of 10 shrines cut out of rock faces. Legend has it that the shrines were carved out of the rock by the fingernails of Kebo Iwa.
