Kintamani & Besakih Temple

Barong and Keris Dance
The Barong and Keris dance is the story of the fight between Barong, the good spirit, and Rangda, the bad spirit. Barong is a character in Balinese mythology seen as a protector spirit. Barong can take many forms but is often represented as a lion. The dance is performed in Batubulan village starting at 9:30am.

Celuk Village
Celuk village is a traditional Balinese village and is a major centre for gold and silversmiths. Gold and silver galleries line the road with workshops usually beside them where you can watch silversmiths and goldsmiths in action.

Mas Village
Mas village is the home of what is considered some of the best woodcarvings in Bali. The woodcarvings are of a distinctive style, promoting synergy of humanism and naturalism. Balinese masks and carvings inspired Hindu and Buddhist mythology are among some of the most popular pieces.

Ubud
Famous for Its painter’s community, Ubud is special place in many ways. Ubud is known for its traditional crafts and dance and is rich in cultural landmarks as well as plenty of stunning natural landscapes. Some of the world’s most prominent artisans and collectors have worked in and visited Ubud. Some of the best things to explore in Ubud are the Ubud monkey forest and the tegallalang rice terrace.

Mount Batur Volcano
Mount Batur is an active volcano located North West of Mount Agung that surrounds the 13-sq-km Batur caldera lake. A substantial lava field from an eruption in 1968 is visible today the town on Kintamani. Mount Batur is a popular tourist trek where you can enjoy the sunrise on early morning treks and sweeping views.

Besakih Mother Temple
Besakih temple, often referred to as “mother temple” is a complex of temples and shrines located on the slopes of Mount Agung in the village of Besakih. Besakih is considered one of Bali’s largest and holiest temples. The largest temple is Pura Penataran Agung which features different areas representing the 7 layers of the universe, each one with their own shrine.

Bukit Jambul
Bukit Jambul is a hilly landscape surrounded by stunning rice fields and jungle just 30 minutes drive from the old court justice. Here, visitors can panoramic views of the coast and the lush green landscape.

Kerta Gosa Old Court Justice
Dating back to 1686, Kerta Gosa is an historical landmark in the town of Klungkung. Kerta Gosa features two main structures, the first is a grand hall with ceilings covered in Kamasan-style paintings which depict the Balinese journey of the soul. The second is the Bale Kambang or “floating hall” surrounded by a moat.
